What will you do?

FastPay is looking for a VP of Sales to manage the sales team in driving maximum revenue growth and profitability by capturing new accounts and building lasting client relationships. This is a high growth role and requires a sense of ownership, great communication skills, a metrics-based approach and a passion for delivering results in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Successful candidates are high-energy, driven sales leaders with sound business acumen and extensive experience in financial services or technology. Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed an annual sales quota/goals.
  • Manage daily operations of the Sales Team
  • Lead and motivate the sales team to exceed objectives through ongoing training, coaching, and recognition
  • Set up meetings with a variety of C-Level executives and key decision makers and be a brand evangelist with a mastery of our company, audiences, programs, and events
  • Maintain and develop Sales processes and lead generation activities
  • Measure, monitor, and report on sales activities
  • Analyze data to contribute to the overall sales strategy
  • Develop and maintain key external client relationships
  • Field complaints and see through to resolution
  • Maintain account and opportunity forecasting within CRM

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of relevant leadership experience with proven track record in sales and business development at a fast-growing technology company
  • Experience leading meetings, demonstrations/presenting to senior executives
  • Ability to train and mentor a sales team on phone skills, objection handling, and closing
  • Ability to train an Outbound team on cold calling, prospecting, and email usage to secure prospect interest
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to coordinate; lead across multiple teams and functions
  • Creative and innovative thinker; proactive, tenacious, and curious
  • Excellent time management, communication, and problem resolution skills
  • Strong, proven experience with customer service, engagement management or CRM solutions
  • Ability to multitask in an effective and organized manner with a highly energetic and focused team
  • Ability to develop a pipeline of additional Inside Sales and Outbound Callers and hire to grow the team
  • BA/BS degree or higher, preferably in marketing, business, communications or equivalent job-related experience
